Faith Korean Drama
I
know its too early to comment on it but so far, this drama has me
hooked and its looking like i'm going to be hooked for a while. And not
because of fangirl obligations either. The story is genuinely
interesting and funny and it looks like the director saw every episode
of Dr. Jin to note down what NOT to do in a time travelling
saeguk. I also love how the scenery is so strikingly different from
other saeguks, maybe because they haven't reached the palace yet. The
scenes with surgery, thank God the director had some restraint and
didn't try to show rubber skin being sliced to reveal a
spurting artery (its an artey if it spurts and a vein if it doesn't)
which magically stops bleeding with no advanced equipment as in Dr.
Jin's case. Again, they cut the episode before the major surgery on Wu
Dal Chi could even begin so i shouldn't be speaking yet.
Main
characters aside, i totally luuurve the queen and the 2nd dude, in
command as the royal guard. The queen has some spunk. She should have
been the king me thinks. She's seriously awesome. And also the calm guy
with brains, the 2nd in command is worth some respect and i can see some
bromance in store for the future from this dude. Faithful sidekick is
my next favourite character. You know, scruffy haired cutie who is
proficient in the untranslatable language of the village they have been
stranded at..
I
have high hopes for this drama. Please don't disappoint! I love being
tickled with the wit and snarkiness of the characters involved in the
drama. Faith fighting! *appropriate fist thrust*
