I guess it is so hard for me to see Is**m as a spiritual religion because it has stagnated so much and has been taken over by close minded fools who "enforce it" through matters that are so superficial and physical and have nothing to do with the spiritual state at all. 

The one glove fits all approach is what made me lose respect. Especially in this day and age, it just screams insecurity - and that is why I think it's a religion for those less intelligent. 

The body, the clothes are never important. It is just a matter of self expression. If you take that away, you're taking the single away from the whole. And it just makes people easier for a less advanced mind to control. That part pisses me off if I'm being honest. 

If the religion does not believe that the individual, who has been taught basic right and wrong cannot exercise individual judgement to live a just life and needs iron clad rules, it is a dumb religion by dumb people. Same with Xt***ity - it's a more evolved, but still retarded version of the same thing. 

The wars caused by these idiot religions has the world suffering for centuries. Makes me want a time machine for real. 

YouTube vs Television

What is it about online videos that make the youth of today tune into them and give them such a huge amount of views, comments and the like?
I'm not even talking about the promo clips that huge productions release, I'm talking about casual homemade vlogs and vines and the like.
Maybe it's because they're talking about relatable things in an honest manner. It is kinda like one of those conversations you have with your friends when no one else is watching. They don't pretend to be politically correct or nice or smart, they just talk about the stuff they like in whatever fashion they like. Ain't no one going to censor a vloggers opinion, unless too many people flag it down.
People spend more time on their computers/smart phones than a few years ago. Most social media keep talking about one thing till it gets exhausted or a new topic crops up. Also, the uploads online take place almost at the speed of thought and hence it's easier to flow with whatever is trending on other social media.

The videos are usually short snack bite sections of entertainment. In 5-10 minutes, the vlogger puts forth their thoughts in the best, most entertaining way possible for them. Most people can't really listen to something for more than 20 minutes (it's proven to be the normal human attention span) and these are the perfect length for people with possible attention deficits like me.
But then again, it's for people with stable internet connections and varying schedules like me I suppose. The ability to bend my entertainment schedule around my work schedule is a huge plus.
Tl;dr - online uploads are the fast food of entertainment. Quick, easily available, momentarily satisfying and quickly forgotten.

Racism and Indians

Just going to say that yes, i do agree with that.. Being a dusky skinned south Indian in south India, i have to agree with the fact that we are indeed racist.

The fact that fair and lovely is the highest selling product in India is proof enough i'd say. And the poor CM of Mizoram who got royally effed up for his comment - Indians are the most racist. How do you expect to survive in politics when you spew truth out like that? (Stereotypical politicians lie about everything)

The amount of casteism and regionalism itself pisses me off. I mean what's with the - "Oh! he's a mallu, obviously he'd fight over silly things" or "Ah! he is from the north, must be dumb" stuff?

So, i'm supposed to be studying and as usual i'm going to take the help of my beloved kpop to procrastinate.
Lee Hi, OMG! What a voice! That voice exudes badassery and attitude like it is no one's business. I was blown over by the song which has this Jazzy feel to it and focuses on her strong point the vocals.
She is a rookie and apart from the reality show she participated in, she doesn't have much camera experience, BUT she is SO awkward in front of the camera. She doing all these normal serious tough singer moves and motions, only to a somewhat lesser degree that makes her look awkward. Its like someone told her to do those moves and she doesn't think she can do them. Or at least her body language says so. She is beautiful before and after her YG-esque makeover. Even though it is kinda wasted because her body language didn't pull it off. Mute the video and you'll find yourself cringing at what goes on. She is decked out fabulously, (YG Stylists take their job seriously) with bright colors very 2ne1-i-love-you-ish and outfits that complement her body, but she lacks spunk those girls have. With the rookies being near perfect before the camera these days, i suppose she does come off as a little lacking and there is MUCH room for improvement.
Hopefully when she debuts as a member of supearls i can say boy! has she improved a lot! Because it definitely can't get any worse.
